Collection Site Auditing, Training and Education:


The integrity of a testing program is directly related to the collection process. PCI helps each client establish collection protocols that works for their organization.  However, there are certain standards mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services that must be maintained for any Federal testing. The collector must be certified and adhere to the appropriate chain-of-custody procedures.

Many employers may contract the urine collection service with local providers. PCI has established services to evaluate and educate collection sites to help ensure legally defensible results. PCI can audit local collection providers on our clients’ behalf, adding quality assurance to the testing program.

PCI has the credentials to provide certified training for Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) and Screening Test Technicians (STT) as well as collectors.  This allows our clients to make the decision to have internal people trained to act as collectors for a more cost effective, efficient program. There is more latitude in establishing a non-federal "on-site" testing program. PCI will assist our clients establish protocols which meet the goals of the program and helps ensure donor dignity and legal defensibility.
